This open-level class is rooted in the Simonson Technique, a contemporary jazz style that supports each dancer moving in ways that work best for their body. Newer students build body awareness and explore organic movement patterns; more experienced dancers refine technique, musicality, and alignment. You’ll learn choreography that blends modern and jazz influences, set to contemporary music that keeps class feeling playful and expressive.
