This class is all about them! Hiphop is a very broad culture and with this age group being curious, full of energy and maybe a little shy, it's a perfect entry style to get them in love with dance. They will be guided through movement games that challenge them not only physically but creatively. This class is a safe space for them to learn & grow with dance.
In this class we will teach the foundations of hip-hop dance culture as well as practicing choreographed sequences. Being that this age group has lots of imagination and curiosity we will keep it playful. This class will be both fun and educational.
In this class there will be lots of choreography and dance games to really balance the mind and body. They will better their ability to mirror movement, work on muscle memory, and improve their groove!
This is an invite only class. Students will take their passion for hip hop dance and begin to develop new skills in breaking. Slowly and safely practicing new moves, students will gain strength and confidence in this freestyle based style.
