- Birthday Party Package – Ages 4+
- Dance Instruction: 2:00pm - 3:00pm (access to the space from 1:30 to 3:30)
- Maximum amount of children is 15
- Space rental includes a book of the ballet for the birthday girl or boy, as well as decorations for the party (balloons and banner).
Timeline:
- 1:30- Birthday girl/boy and family arrive
- 1:45- Guests arrive
- 2:00 to 3:00- Children will come to a circle on the dance space where we will do introductions and read the story of the ballet that the birthday child chose (ahead of time). We will go over the concept of ballet, and how ballets tell different stories. During this time we will also talk about pantomime and how it is used in the language of ballet. Next, we will do a quick warm up to get our bodies going and move into small groups where the children will create their own movement sentences to share. The celebration will end with the handout of a special accessory to each child, which they will use while learning a variation from the chosen ballet.

* Food Option: Because there is NO food allowed in the dance space Amanda Kupillas Dance can help assist you with the rest of your party by arranging a reserved table for pizza at Slices (across Main Street) immediately following the party. Amanda Kupillas Dance will decorate the table (with balloons from the party and any other decorations you have) and make sure everything is set-up while the party is taking place so that the table is ready right after the activity.
- Note: Pizza orders and all further costs would need to be arranged directly with Slices. We will only provide the service of making the reservation and setting up the table..
